                               RESOLUTION NO. 18967
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FROM THE
                   STATE OF TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF
                   TRANSPORTATION RELATIVE TO THE
                   RECONSTRUCTION, WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENTS AT
                   STATE ROUTE 8, INTERSECTION OF MAIN STREET
                   AND CENTRAL AVENUE.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby accepted a
       proposal from the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation 

       relative to the reconstruction, widening and improvements at 
State
       Route 8, intersection of Main Street and Central Avenue.
      
       ADOPTED:  April 2, 1991
